As fire season ends, storm season is beginning.  
Please be cautious and aware of your surroundings and current weather conditions.  If Hancock Forest Management deems conditions are not safe for recreation, we will close the forest as we do during fire season.  
Always check our website and phone line for updates before making your visit to the property.

The Kapowsin and Eatonville forest will be closed to all recreation access November 5-16 for modern rifle elk season.

This website only covers the White River, Kapowsin, & Eatonville Forests in northwestern Washington.

If you are looking for recreation information in other areas please call that areas office.
